Tarmac SL7 Stack and Reach

The Specialized Tarmac SL7 was designed under the philosophy of “one bike to rule them all,” combining the aerodynamics of the Venge with the lightweight nature of the Tarmac SL6. Its stack and reach are uncompromisingly “Race.” For a size 56cm, the stack is 555mm and the reach is 398mm. This is a very aggressive, long, and low geometry. The SL7 is built for riders who want to feel every watt of power transfer and who are comfortable in a traditional racing tuck.

What makes the SL7 unique is its “Rider-First Engineered” approach, ensuring that stack and reach scale proportionally across all sizes so that a rider on a 44cm frame experiences the same handling characteristics as someone on a 61cm frame. The integrated stem on the SL7 does allow for some stack adjustment via proprietary spacers, but the reach remains fixed unless you swap the entire stem. For many, the SL7 represents the pinnacle of modern road geometry—aggressive enough for the WorldTour but refined enough to be the standard by which all other race bikes are measured.
