Trek Domane Stack and Reach

The Trek Domane is the king of endurance geometry, specifically designed for the cobblestones of Paris-Roubaix and riders who prioritize comfort over all else. The Domane features a very high stack and a relatively short reach compared to the Emonda or Madone. This “Endurance Fit” (formerly H2) allows the rider to sit in a much more upright position. For a size 56cm, the stack is a towering 591mm with a reach of 377mm. This results in a stack-to-reach ratio of 1.57, one of the most relaxed in the performance road category.

This geometry works in tandem with Trek’s IsoSpeed decoupler technology to absorb road vibrations. Because the reach is shorter, the rider’s weight is shifted slightly back, reducing the load on the wrists. This makes the Domane an excellent choice for riders with back issues or those who want to ride all day without feeling beaten up. While it may not be the first choice for a technical criterium race, its stack and reach make it perhaps the most versatile “all-road” bike on the market for the average cyclist.
